The Australian Evaluation Society invites evaluation professionals, researchers, and community leaders to AES25, its 2025 International Evaluation Conference, taking place in Canberra from September 17 to 19, with pre-conference workshops on September 15 and 16. Centered on the theme “Beyond the Bubble,” the conference will explore inclusive, transformative, and practice-based approaches to evaluation across four subthemes: Foundations, Connecting, Cultivating, and Transforming. Attendees can expect keynote presentations, breakout sessions, panel discussions, and workshops aligned with the AES Evaluators’ Professional Learning Competency Framework. Topics will include participatory and Indigenous evaluation, ethical AI, mixed methods, and capacity building. The program also features networking events, a gala at Australian Parliament House, and support opportunities for emerging Indigenous evaluators.
