The Indigenous Evaluation Gathering brings together evaluators, community leaders, researchers, and practitioners to center Indigenous evaluation as a practice grounded in relationships, responsibility, and respect for community knowledge. Rooted in Indigenous ways of knowing, being, and doing, the gathering creates space to learn from and with Indigenous communities while advancing evaluation approaches that support self-determination and community priorities. Participants can expect a range of sessions that uplift storytelling, relational accountability, and culturally grounded practices, while exploring how evaluation can be used in service of Indigenous communities. The gathering offers opportunities for reflection, connection, and shared learning, with a focus on strengthening Indigenous evaluation practice and fostering collaboration across communities and disciplines.
