Position Description

The CDC Foundation is seeking an Evaluation Technical Advisor to support an evaluation capacity-building initiative for Veteran-serving organizations implementing suicide prevention programs. Working closely with CDC subject matter experts and CDC Foundation staff, this role provides expert guidance and technical assistance to grantees in developing and implementing evaluation plans, strengthening evaluation capacity, and integrating evidence-building into public health programming. The Technical Advisor will support the design and implementation of performance and impact evaluations, develop evaluation frameworks and data collection tools, review evaluation deliverables, and facilitate the translation of data into actionable insights for continuous improvement. The role also includes leading capacity-building activities, supporting stakeholder engagement, and collaborating with partners to deliver culturally responsive and impactful evaluation support.
