Position Description

The Healthcare Association of New York State is seeking a Healthcare Data and Policy Analyst to support healthcare analytics and policy research for DataGen, a HANYS Solutions company. Reporting to the Manager of KeySTATS National, this role analyzes federal healthcare legislation, Medicare regulations, and payment policies to develop data-driven products and analytical tools for hospitals and healthcare associations. The Healthcare Data and Policy Analyst will develop and maintain SQL-based analytical programs, create data visualizations and reports, manage healthcare databases, and translate complex policy and data into actionable insights for clients. The position also supports product development, validates healthcare datasets, prepares technical documentation, conducts client trainings, and presents findings through webinars, conferences, and other stakeholder engagements.
