Position Description

Crisis Text Line is seeking a Principal Evaluation Scientist to lead rigorous evaluation and quality assessment efforts that demonstrate and strengthen the organization’s impact on people in crisis, volunteers, and the broader mental health field. Reporting to the Vice President of Impact Evaluation and Storytelling, this senior individual contributor will provide methodological leadership across complex mixed-methods evaluations, assessing service quality, texter outcomes, volunteer experience, and systems-level change. The role partners closely with research, clinical operations, product, and global affiliates to translate findings into actionable insights that inform program improvement, strategic decision-making, funding proposals, and field-wide learning.
