Position Description

The Utah Education Policy Center is seeking a Research Associate to support its research and evaluation portfolio across K-12 and higher education. This role serves on a team conducting rigorous research and program evaluation projects, including designing studies, developing and administering data collection tools such as surveys, interviews, and focus groups, and conducting both quantitative and qualitative analyses. The Research Associate will manage and analyze data, prepare reports and deliverables including briefs, presentations, and data visualizations, and translate findings into accessible formats for diverse audiences. The role also includes supporting grant writing, building relationships with clients, and facilitating meetings, while contributing to multiple concurrent projects. This position plays a key role in advancing the Center’s mission to bridge research, policy, and practice and to support educators and policymakers in using evidence to drive meaningful change.
