Position Description
The Walton Family Foundation is seeking a Strategy, Learning, and Evaluation Officer to support its Home Region Program, which focuses on creating opportunity and enhancing quality of life across Northwest Arkansas and the Arkansas-Mississippi Delta. Working within the Strategy, Learning, and Evaluation Department, this role serves as an internal consultative partner, helping to generate actionable information about the progress and results of philanthropic initiatives. The Officer will design and manage evaluation and learning projects, support program staff in articulating strategies and theories of change, track progress through key performance indicators and data systems, and facilitate structured reflection processes that inform continuous improvement and adaptation. The role also includes evaluating grantmaking portfolios, managing data collection from sources such as grantee reporting and surveys, developing tools and frameworks for analysis, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to build evidence and strengthen decision-making. This position contributes to advancing learning, collaboration, and impact across the Home Region Program and the broader foundation.
