LEEAD Mentor Application 2025

This application will help the Expanding the Bench Team determine your fit as a Mentor for the Leaders in Equitable Evaluation and Diversity (LEEAD) Program. We ask about your experience, areas of expertise as well as motivation behind your interest in culturally responsive and equitable evaluation (CREE).

One-to-one matches between LEEAD Scholars and Mentors are based on a number of factors including research and career interests, mentoring needs and approach, work settings, geographic locations and much more to provide opportunities for strong connections. We will use this information, in conjunction with an assessment (at a later date), to potentially match you with a Scholar.

ETB encourages applicants to prepare their responses in advance by reviewing the PDF version of the application.

Culturally responsive and equitable evaluation (CREE) requires the integration of diversity, inclusion, and equity in all phases of evaluation. CREE incorporates cultural, structural, and contextual factors (e.g. historical, social, economic, racial, ethnic, gender) using a participatory process that shifts power to individuals most impacted. CREE is not just one method of evaluation, it is an approach that should be infused into all evaluation methodologies. CREE advances equity by informing strategy, program improvement, decision-making, policy formation, and change.
