Funding Opportunity
Evaluation Design for the Initiative on Climate Action and Nutrition
Funding Application Due Date: 02/28/26
Opportunity Description
The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition seeks an experienced evaluation partner to support the Initiative on Climate Action and Nutrition (I-CAN), a multi-stakeholder flagship initiative launched to accelerate integrated action on climate change and nutrition. The engagement has two primary components. First, the selected partner will design a comprehensive methodology for a future five-year evaluation of I-CAN’s contribution to advancing climate–nutrition integration, including a detailed approach, data collection tools, and an indicative workplan and budget. Second, the partner will conduct a light-touch interim assessment of I-CAN’s progress to date, drawing primarily on secondary data to assess contributions toward immediate and intermediate outcomes. The work will focus on understanding I-CAN’s role in strengthening policy integration, building country alliances, improving data and tracking, mobilizing finance, and connecting stakeholders across the climate and nutrition fields, with findings used to inform future evaluation and strategic refinement.
