Opportunity Description

Wilkes County, North Carolina is seeking a research and evaluation partner to lead a comprehensive evaluation of its DOJ-funded Comprehensive Opioid, Stimulant, and Substance Use Program initiative. The evaluation will assess the impact of four core interventions: peer support integration with EMS, behavioral health training for responders, expansion of jail-based Medication Assisted Treatment, and the establishment of an Overdose Fatality Review Team. The purpose of the evaluation is to generate actionable insights and publishable findings that inform and strengthen evidence-based responses to substance use disorder, co-occurring behavioral health issues, and overdose prevention. Proposals should demonstrate a clear plan for data sharing, analysis, and methodological rigor.
