Opportunity Description

The California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office is seeking proposals from research organizations to conduct a five-year evaluation of the Rising Scholars Network – Juvenile Justice Program. This initiative supports 45 community colleges in providing higher education opportunities to youth impacted by the juvenile justice system through on-site programming, structured transition support, and wraparound services. The evaluation will analyze program models, student outcomes, institutional capacity, and policy barriers using equity-focused, mixed-methods research. Findings will guide future program development, policy recommendations, and an understanding of long-term impact.
