Opportunity Description

Northern Virginia Family Service (NVFS) seeks an external evaluator to support its Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration National Child Traumatic Stress Initiative, Category III Community Treatment and Service Center project. The initiative will expand NVFS’ Violence Prevention and Intervention Program by integrating trauma informed mental health services into Fairfax County Public Schools and Manassas City Public Schools, serving children and youth ages 5 to 21 who have experienced trauma and face barriers to accessing evidence based treatment. The selected evaluator will provide independent expertise in evaluation planning, data analysis, stakeholder feedback, reporting, and continuous quality improvement. The work will focus on assessing program implementation and outcomes, supporting data informed decision making, and identifying opportunities to strengthen service delivery and improve access to trauma informed mental health care.
