This workshop, led by Alex Hildebrand of Sunburst Strategies, focuses on helping organizations move beyond equity statements toward meaningful implementation. The session will explore how a Theory of Change can serve as a framework for defining how organizations advance diversity, equity, and inclusion through their mission, programs, and decision making. Participants will examine real world examples of organizations using Theories of Change to operationalize equity commitments and will learn practical lessons from on the ground efforts to integrate DEI into organizational work. Through presentations, exercises, and peer discussion, attendees will explore opportunities and challenges related to implementation, accountability, and aligning equity goals with everyday practice.
