This approach centers on the intended use by intended users and emphasizes the importance of designing and facilitating evaluations with careful attention to how each step will support meaningful application. This workshop will introduce the core principles of UFE, including the psychology of use and the importance of stakeholder ownership. Participants will explore how situational responsiveness can guide choices about design, methods, and intended outcomes, and how involving users throughout the process can prepare the ground for evaluation findings to be understood, valued, and applied.
